We encourage all speakers to bring a back-up of their presentation on a USB flash drive/memory stick.

PRESENTATION FORMAT
- We recommend using the APTR Annual Conference PowerPoint template. Note: The disclosure slide (#3 in the template) is required for all presentations
- There is no slide limit, however, presentations should allow adequate question and answer time.
- Fonts should be easy-to-read typeface, such as Helvetica, Arial, and Tahoma. Use of fonts not included in Windows can lead to words that bleed into graphics.
- APTR suggests presenters set the page for Widescreen format Show (16:9)
- Avoid light lettering on a light background, red or green text to be considerate of those who are color blind.
ACCESSING PRESENTATION ONSITE
- Your presentation will be loaded on the computer in your presentation room.
- Computers in session rooms are Windows-based PCs, using the latest version of Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Speakers are not permitted to load their slide presentations onto the computers in the Session room.
- If presenters have special circumstances that require a replacement of their uploaded presentation you MUST submit it to the registration staff on a portable memory stick at least 3 hours prior to your session time.
AUDIO/VISUAL
- All session rooms will be equipped with a laptop computer, LCD projector, screen, podium and microphone, head table
- Standard Wi-Fi only is provided in the hotel.
- Computers in session rooms are Windows-based PCs, using the latest version of Microsoft PowerPoint.
- No additional audio/visual equipment or requests will be accommodated.
HANDOUTS
- Any handouts or accompanying materials that are submitted through the UPLOAD PRESENTATION form will be made available on the meeting website attached to your session.
- APTR will not make copies or distribute session materials onsite
- You may provide onsite copies for distribution
- APTR does not reimburse for copying or handout supplies.
SPEAKER INTRODUCTIONS
- Each session is assigned a facilitator who will introduce the session and the speakers
- APTR provides the facilitator with the speaker bio information submitted in the original abstract submission. You may edit your online bio on the meeting website, however these may be shortened. Login information was emailed to the email address on file for each speaker.

FORMAT AND REQUIRED INFORMATION
STUDENT POSTER AWARDS
These awards are given to the three best student posters presented at the conference. It rewards a combination of excellent research, innovation, and presentation. A panel of faculty judges will review posters during the poster presentation. Poster winners will be announced and receive a certificate during the annual luncheon on Tuesday, March 3.
FACULTY POSTER AWARD
A panel of student judges from across health disciplines will review faculty posters for their ability to present methods that are clear, visually appealing, and communicates technical content that is easy for students to understand. The faculty poster winner will be announced and receive a certificate during the annual luncheon on Tuesday, March 3.
- Poster Presentation: Monday, March 2, 2020 from 5:00 to 6:30 pm
- Set-Up: Monday, March 2, 2020 between 3:30 and 4:45 pm
- Tear Down: Monday, March 2, 2020 at 6:30 pm
PRESENTER RESPONSIBILITES
- The presenter must be present and remain at the poster during the entire session.
- Each poster board will indicate the poster number in upper right or left corner. Presenters are responsible for mounting their posters during the specified set-up time and removing the poster as soon as the session ends. Posters left up past that time will be discarded.
- The face of the poster board is covered with Velcro-receptive fabric. Push pins will be provided for to hang your poster.
FORMAT AND REQUIRED INFORMATION
- Your poster should fit on a board that is 4 feet high by 8 feet wide. The exact size is up to you, but it’s recommended to be no bigger than 3.5 feet high x 5 feet wide.
- The poster title should be the same as the title submitted with the abstract and appear in boldface at the top
- Each poster must include text in a large enough font to be read easily by attendees from a distance of 3 to 4 feet. Lettering on illustrations should be large and legible. Photographs should be a minimum of 5 x 7 inches.
- Material should be displayed in logical sequence (introduction, background, objectives, research design/program description, results/evaluation, and conclusion.)
- No commercial activities or any advertising may be displayed on the posters. Non-compliance with this rule will result in the poster being removed.

CHANGE IN SPEAKER OR CANCELLATION
- If for any reason you are unable to present, APTR must be informed of all cancellations or changes immediately up to the time of your presentation. Please notify APTR as soon as possible. “No Shows” are strictly monitored and MAY not be allowed to present future meetings.
